#54 Air

      "Alright," Tobias said, sighing, "where is this person you wanted me to meet?"
      "Up there," Gail grinned, pointing at a small speck in the sky, then waived.
      Tobias frowned, but the speck dove, quickly resolving itself into a young boy with huge cloudy gray wings. He soared effortlessly toward them, his fan feathered tail acting as a rudder. The boy landed at a run, and tackled Gail with a big hug. Then he turned curiously to look at her companion.
      "Tobias." Gail said, ruffling the boy's "hair", "meet Tempest. Tempest, this is my friend Tobias."
      "Er, hi," Tobias mumbled.
      "Hi."
